About The Event
Open to everyone, you can complete this course as a novice, or it's ideal for those who have done some boating before. Anyone over the age of 12 can take part, it's ideal if you are thinking of buying a boat, have recently purchased one, or would like to hire one on holiday. Skills you'll learn include:
speed and collision regulations
anchoring
knowledge of safety equipment
turning in confined spaces
coming alongside and securing to a mooring buoy
